From the initial efforts in March 2005 to attract candidates to the Australian talent bank up to today, the response has been substantial with several thousand potential candidates applying. The response from these candidates has been very positive and the quality of candidates has been extremely high, allowing Executives Online to build a very impressive candidate database. Having built a quality database and refined the Executives Online systems functionality and matching capabilities, we are now entering a phase to find more suitable assignments for these top-quality individuals to show their skills. This website has been set up to provide a portal for both clients and candidates to access our services.
We are now looking forward to an exciting period of growth over the next few years, establishing licensee operations in each state of Australia and NZ, raising the profile of this service, the benefits of this type of employment and the substantial cost and time benefits of Executives Online to every business in Australia.
Executives Online began in the UK in November 1992 when now Executive Chairman Norrie Johnston, created the forerunner to Executives Online through which he practised as an interim sales and marketing director completing 10 major interim assignments for companies such as IMI, London Electricity, IBM, Westinghouse Electronics, and Tunstall Telecom. In January 1997 the company began operating as an interim management provider, with an initial listing in the Executive Grapevine Directory of Interim Management. In January 2000 the company launched its website and changed its name to Executives Online Ltd.
In the past five years, Executives Online has now placed hundreds of interim managers into diverse and challenging roles with global candidate roster exceeding 48,000 practicing interim managers and other freelance and commercial executives. Services have evolved from purely interim management to include other fast-track executive resourcing solutions, including change management, project management, job sharing and fast permanent executive recruitment.
Today, Executives Online continues to experience exceptional growth in both turnover and margin, deploying a unique blend of technology and personal service to support the needs of both clients and candidates and to match them together in successful assignments.
